MU-Softmedia Sdn. Bhd. was formed with the objective of becoming a leading Malaysian research and development (R&D) company providing comprehensive product design, custom application development, Systems Integration, Software Development, Engineering activities and turnkey systems provider. It has assumed the R&D activities of MU-Systems Sdn Bhd, a company formed by the same founders in 1994.
MU-SoftMedia Sdn. Bhd. was corporated in June 29, 2001 having granted the MSC-Status by the Multimedia Development Corporation.
It is a 100% locally-owned company, founded by Mustaffa Kamal bin Ibrahim and Soraya bte Omar, both being young entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the engineering and information technology industries both locally and internationally.
With the strength and commitment of the shareholders, directors, management team and staff, MU-SoftMedia aims to become powerful company able to produce and deliver high quality products and services to local and international clients.
MU-SoftMedia Sdn Bhd (MUS) is an MSC status company with an authorized capital of
RM 2,000,000 and a paid-up capital of RM 1,538,000, to challenge the new globalized business era and the company responsible to apply for the MSC Status.
All intellectual capital rights and activities in-line with MSC objectives including software,
business rights and customers from the subsidiary company, MU-Systems Sdn Bhd are transferred to MUS.

This system is an extension to the PA Monitoring System. The Plant Emergency Alarm System (PEAS) also connect all the speaker, surveillance equipment, amplifiers and other alarms in the PA system installed to the centralized system. It is a plant-wide PA announcement of emergency situation through speakers as well as to the security officers` trunk radio. It has a built in pre-recorded voice message in both Bahasa Melayu and English. It has a coded audio sequence for different type and location of emergency situation.

Electrical Fencing for securing premises and borders from intrusions. The 9,000 volt energiser is certified by Suruhanjaya Tenaga and safe for continuous operations. We have experience in various types of installations for housing bungalows, cellular telecommunication towers, remote jungle perimeters and housing estates. Services include design, site drawing layouts, competent engineer and wireman services, document submission to ST for approval, installation, full tests and commissioning. Intrusions are detected by the system, shown on the display and SMS messages are instantly dispatched to multiple recipients. The system can be integrated with CCTV cameras and other security systems. Electrical fencing serves as an effective deterrent against intruders and also animals.

This solution was developed for the usage of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL). It monitors the traffic situation from a control center located in the DBKL HQ and the ITIS HQ. Monitoring is via Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) that is placed strategically along the streets in Kuala Lumpur. What the system does is to connect all the CCTV to the control center making it easy for the system administrator to view the traffic situation simultaneously or zoom in to any specific location for monitoring purpose.
